The dreamcatcher web is believed to filter out unwanted dreams allowing only good ones to pass through. I selected this image as a representation of my photography since I filter light, simplify compositions, and reveal emotions allowing the true essence of my subjects to be exposed.
About Kat
I'm Katrinka Kalarchik and I am a freelance photographer based in central Washington. Beginning in 2003, I followed my heart to create beautiful images through the medium of photography.
I share my home with my husband and two year old chocolate lab, a.k.a. my baby girl. I enjoy design, travel, wine, and laughs with good friends. I intend to leave an indelible mark on my community, family, and the photography industry... just not necessarily in that order.
My Background
A lifelong passion with design has led me to an educational background including: Photography Foundation from Rocky Mountain School of Photography; Certificate of Interior Design from Institute of Interior Design; Web Design and Administration Certification from Learning Tree University.
