Canon EOS
For years I have used Canon EOS DSLR camera bodies as I find their image quality and speed exceed my expectations.
I shoot a Canon EOS1Ds Mark III and have a Canon EOS 7d as a back-up body.
"L" Series
I have found the optical construction is unsurpassed with the Canon "L" series lenses for contrast and sharpness. I currently have a variety of lenses on-hand which include the following:
~ 16-35mm (ultra wide angle)
~ 50mm (normal)
~ 24-70mm (zoom wide angle)
~ 100mm (macro)
~ 70-200mm (telephoto zoom)
~ 100-400mm (zoom telephoto)
Studio
A variety of professional backgrounds, PhotoFlex softboxes, Lowell tungsten lights, Canon 580EX II flashes, scrims, reflectors, sunbounces, and props are available to customize portrait sessions to meet client expectations, as well as allow creativity during the session.
Processing
Photo processing is conducted on a MacBook Pro with a 30" Apple Cinema HD monitor. Image processing software utilized includes Adobe Lightroom 3 and Photoshop CS5. Prints and proofs are printed on an Epson 3880 Professional Printer with multiple paper options including exhibition fibre, canvas, luster, and glossy up to 17x22 prepared inhouse.
